Title: Interplanetary Warfare
[Entry 1 - begin recording]
"I don't think I'll ever understand our species.
After many years, no, centuries of war we were at last able to move our people to neighbouring worlds.
But even now that we are seperated, the hate still remains, as a ghost that haunts us from the shadows.
Even now, with all that space between us, there are still those who cannot stand the idea that we are still alive somewhere else.
I don't think I'll ever understand our species..."

The worst is when they come at night; when the lands are covered in shadow, and the only light in the sky is that of the distant stars, and their horrible 'anti-atmosphere weapons'.
Violent blasts that poison our skies and turn the cool, Summer rain into burning streams of acid...
Our only defense is our anti-air system, but at night, it is pretty much useless to us.
I must leave now; I am on duty tonight. I already feel nervous, because you always know it's not a matter of "did they die?" but rather "who didn't?"...

Title: Through travelers' eyes
Artist comment:
I created this image using my own sky photographs and digitally created planets. The program I used to make this is Photoshop.
A relatively simple image. I wanted to capture the feeling of when you first set foot on new ground and look around to take in all the new impressions.

Another simple image. One of the first works I did that feature planets in a landscape photograph.

Title: If distance was our only problem

This image was created about a month before my realationship ended. The full description below explains how I felt at the time.
At the time I must have had a lot of problems that prevented me from living a happy life. Thankfully I am doing much better since. Still, it is not always easy to look back at these works and remember those past times.

I've had much happening to me in these past months. None of it was very uplifting. When things take a bad turn, it creates distance. Distance from dreams and hopes, distance from strength, distance from being who you really are.
With this piece, I have taken back some lost ground. Problems are not worth losing yourself over, especially when it comes to losing your way of expressing yourself.
There is another distance that makes my life a little tougher. Distance between me and my love. This distance becomes quite unbearable sometimes, especially when knowing the other is suffering so much.
This piece represents that distance; unreachable yet within plain sight.

This is probably one of my favourite and more succesful works in this genre. The little background story (as can be read in the full description) is one of my better works too.
