“I have only just begun to tell my story.
What you see is only a glimpse of what I will be.
I am a falling ray, waiting to bounce back.
When I do, I will be brilliant.”

Here you can read all about my design endeavours in the commercial world.
This side of Triii-Ray features some design works that I have created over the past three years, of which most works were created during my internship.

You can select a subcategory below to view various works ranging from web- to logo designs.

It is particularly interesting to see the growth and development in my work and skill level over the years.

webdesign

Designs for the web

I remember very well the day we first had the internet in our humble home. It was a whole new world opening up before me.

Though I was already creating various things digitally at that time, I never really had any plans of going in the webdesign business. This career choice came much later, near the final years of my education in multimedia design.

The college I attended to didn't have a very strong webdesign program, so I had to learn all that I know today by experience, collegues and research outside of school.
I was very fortunate to find a nice, full-service internet company where I could develop these skills, and more, at an easy pace and with great joy as an intern. My internship ended around Februari 2008, but I came back to work for that company by the end of Summer 2008

Today I work for a company that specializes in e-commerce.

When viewing my commercial works I'd like you to keep in mind that these are mostly old works, created during a period of internship. I started with literally no knowledge on webdesign. I still have much to learn today, but I am very eager to do so and I pick up new things at a very fast rate.

I always aspire to outdo my last endeavors in order to keep me sharp. I can always do better!

visual identity

The face of a business

One of my favourite things to do, back in college, was to create logo's.
The education I followed started off very broad in the field of design, and I picked up some experience during the first years.

Most of the logo's in my visual identity portfolio, if not all of them, were designed during periods of internship. I don't just design logo's though, I can also design and prepare business cards, custom writing paper, envelopes etcetera.

So far, every client I had was instantly satisfied with the results that I had delivered. I have a good sense of understanding what the client wants and can come up with multiple ideas for them to choose from.

I don't get a lot of requests for visual identities these days, but I do hope to fill up my portfolio more in the future.
